April Working Bee

Come along to a super fun day of weeding and planting beside the Birrarung (Yarra River). This is the perfect opportunity to meet community and contribute to a healthier Birrarung! 🌏

📅 Date & Time:

• When: 18th April, 10:00am - 12:00pm
• Where: The embankment running up from the Yarra Path, 300 metres south of the Hawthorn Bridge, just past the Melbourne Girls College Boat shed.

Event Activities:

• 🌱 Planting - Come restore historic bushland with us through native rewilding
• 🦎 Reptile Show - Nina will be doing a reptile show as part of her work with Reptile Encounters
• 🎸 Live Music - While we're planting we'll have the amazing Sam Combes on guitar
• 🌳Tree Stake Decorating - Bring out your creative side and decorate your own tree stake

What to Bring:

• 💧 Water (stay hydrated!)
• 👟 Sturdy shoes (for comfort and safety)
• 🧢 Hat (for sun protection)
