๐ณ๐ฟ Join Us for a Follow-Up to National Tree Day! ๐ฟ๐ณ
We invite you to our exciting weeding and planting event at the Melbourne Girls' College native Myrnong planting site beside the Birrarung (Yarra River). This is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow volunteers and contribute to a greener future! ๐
๐ Date & Time:
- When: 17th August, 9:00am - 11:15am
- Where: The embankment running up from the Yarra Path, 300 metres south of the Hawthorn Bridge, just past the Melbourne Girls College Boat shed.
Event Activities:
- ๐ฑ Planting: Help us maintain the plants we planted on National Tree Day.
- ๐ฟ Weeding: Remove invasive species to give our native plants a better chance to thrive.
- ๐ Mulching: Protect our new plants and improve soil health.
What to Bring:
- ๐ง Water (stay hydrated!)
- ๐ Sturdy shoes (for comfort and safety)
- ๐งข Hat (for sun protection)
