Surfrider Presents: Southern Blast, FREE Community Screening

The Save the Southern Sea campaign is underway, which targets one of the largest seismic blasting proposals in the world with 3.17 Million hectares currently under threat. The proposed blasting area extends from the South Australian/Victorian border to Tasmania.

Join us to watch Southern Blast, a 40 minute film developed by Surfrider Foundation, capturing the wildness of the Southern Ocean and those who share a deep and integral connection with it. The film uplifts and inspires, leaving audiences with a message: this area is worth protecting, and we all have a role to play in helping to protect it from oil and gas exploration. 

The Surfrider Melbourne team will be in attendance and will give an update on the Save our Southern Seas campaign. There will be some FREE Drinks & Surfrider Foundation merch to give away on the night.
