Youth Advisory Committee (Port Phillip)

Who are we?

The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a group of passionate young people aged 15-25 who want to make a difference in their community, gain leadership skills and be influential in local government decision making.

The YAC meet once a month - consulting with council and external organisations surrounding issues facing young people within the City of Port Phillip. The Committee also manage a number of self-guided community projects and partake in various training opportunities to develop their skills to better help support their community.

How can I join the committee?

To be eligible to join the YAC you must be aged between 15-25 and live, work, study or play in the City of Port Phillip.

The YAC are currently accepting new applicants - submit an expression of interest form to keep up to date!
